North Cotswold Schools Federation MAT

Our school is part of the NCSF Trust, a new Multi-Academy Trust set up in October 2022, which has four schools over five sites – St. James’ and Ebrington, Cold Aston, Longborough, and Swell. The Trust has been set up under majority articles, which means that we can work together with both church and community schools.

Our aim is to create a wider family of schools, working together to benefit all, whilst ensuring that each school keeps their unique individual identity. Through an understanding of the unique strengths and challenges of different schools, both in the North Cotswolds and wider, we want to proactively create solutions to meet the needs of all of our children and families.

The prioritisation of relationships at all levels is key to the way we all work at the NCSF Trust; we aim for every member of our Trust community to be respected, valued, nurtured and challenged to grow, learn and achieve. We collaborate across our Trust and wider to support, challenge and improve; we are a learning community and seek every opportunity to develop as individuals and as an organisation.

Our schools are supported by an experienced Central Team that includes Jackie our CEO, Liz our CFO, Anna our School Improvement Lead, Lucy our SENDCo and Emma our Safeguarding and Behaviour Lead.

Our MAT Vision:

North Cotswolds School Federation MAT

As part of the NCSF Multi-Academy Trust, our school vision supports the trust vision and the ethos.

Trust commitment:

Our commitment is to ensure that every member of our Trust community is respected, valued, nurtured and challenged to enable all to flourish.

Through an understanding of the unique strengths and challenges of schools, both in the North Cotswolds and wider, we work proactively to create solutions to meet the needs of all of our children and families.

Our Trust vision is to create a wider family of schools, working together to benefit all, whilst ensuring that each school keeps their individual identities.

This vision is lived out through our five core principles:

  • The deliberate prioritisation of relationships at all levels.

  • Putting children at the heart of all we do, by recognising that to achieve this we need to put our staff at the heart of all we do.

  • Welcoming, celebrating and including everyone.

  • The pooling of expertise and resources to ensure the best outcomes for all.

  • Supporting and challenging ourselves and others to be the very best we can be.

'Working together for a better future for all.'
